Reader's Theater

Along with all of our Native American studies, we have been practicing to become more fluent readers.  We focused on fluency in the following ways:
Faster reading
Looking back
Using pauses
Expression
Noticing Punctuation
Comprehending
You can do it!

To help us become fluent readers we did Reader's Theater with Iroquois Stories of Creation.  Reader's Theater is almost like doing a play only without props or costumes.  We use our voices to show all the expression we need.  Please enjoy the videos of three different Iroquois Tales.
Spring Defeats Winter: A Seneca Tale

The Corn Spirit: A Tuscarora Tale
