Sorry that it's been a while since I've made a post. I am still new to this whole blog thing. We have been doing lots of fun things in class.
This week our reading groups began reading a story called Akiak by Robert J. Blake and using our summarization skills to retell what is going on in the story. The story takes place in Alaska during the Iditarod - a famous sled-dog race from Anchorage to Nome. The Iditarod is really cool and the kids are really enjoying reading about this courageous dog's journey on this rugged trail!
